I believe innovation happens when you stop separating research from building and building from teaching. The best ideas I have worked on started as a real problem inside a product team or a classroom project, not a strategy deck. Over three decades that conviction led to ventures, patents, recognized outcomes, and eventually a teaching methodology built on the same principle: make something real first, formalize later.
